Privacy notice · plain-language version
A short privacy notice.
We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry. We do not subscribe you to anything. We do not share your information with third parties. Last updated 2026-05-08.
What we collect
If you fill out the intake form, we collect what you choose to enter: your name, email, phone, organization, role, and the description of the project. If you call or email us, we keep the call and the email in our project-management system. The system is hosted on US-region cloud infrastructure with at-rest encryption.
The site itself uses no cookies, no third-party analytics, and no tracking pixels. We do not log your IP address or your user-agent at the application layer. Cloudflare, the edge that serves this site, retains anonymized request logs for fraud-prevention purposes for a period of approximately 30 days; we have access to those logs only in aggregate.
What we do with it
We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry. We may share what you submit internally among the practice’s twelve people. We do not share with anyone outside the practice without your written consent — except where required by law (a subpoena, a court order). We have never received a subpoena or a court order.
What we don’t do
- We do not maintain an email marketing list. We will not subscribe you to anything.
- We do not sell, license, lease, or otherwise share your information with third parties for any commercial purpose.
- We do not run advertising. We do not place tracking pixels. We do not load third-party scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no Intercom).
- We do not use AI tools that retain inputs for training on the contents of your inquiry.
Retention
We keep your intake form and our correspondence with you for the duration of any active project plus seven years (the standard PE-archive retention window in Pennsylvania). If we do not engage on a project, we keep your initial inquiry for two years and then delete it. You may request deletion sooner by writing studio@plenumandreed.example.
Telemetry data on retainer sites
Sites we operate under a Gate M6 retainer have a sensor mesh that produces environmental data — temperature, RH, light, dew point, occasionally CO₂. The data is stored on the Conserv platform under the institutional client’s account; we have access as the operator. The data is the institution’s data, not ours. We do not aggregate it across institutions. We do not publish individual-site readings without the institution’s permission. Where we cite numbers in the journal or the casebook, we cite them in aggregate or with the institution’s prior consent.
Your rights
If you would like a copy of what we hold about you, write us. If you would like us to delete what we hold about you, write us. We respond within seven business days. We do not believe Pennsylvania has yet enacted a comprehensive consumer-data-rights statute analogous to the California CCPA or the Virginia CDPA, but we treat all inquiries as if it had.
