Journal · field notes · technical pieces

What we’re thinking about, written down.

The journal is what we publish between cases. Field notes from the trucks, technical write-ups from the shop, occasional opinion pieces on a question the trade is wrestling with. We aim for one piece a month; some months we miss.

Or don’t. We post quietly.

There is no email list. There is an Atom feed at /journal/feed.xml that you may follow in any reader. If you would like to be kept abreast of our writing without managing a feed, the easiest thing is to bookmark this index page; we update it on the same day we publish.

For shop-internal documents (sensor manual, equilibration protocol, the long-form binder template) we will sell you a copy on request. Email studio@plenumandreed.example with a brief description of why you would find them useful.

Or, if you prefer, the journal cross-posts to the AIC News mailing list a few times a year, at the editor’s discretion.
